Growing Calendar for Verbena Bampton - Perennial Plants
Delivery: Early April to Late July
Loved for its distinct appearance of rich red-wine colour, petite leaves and complementing small yet numerous pink flowers attractive to a range of different insects.
With a good spreading habit Bampton is a perfect addition positioned in flower beds adding depth and texture among taller flowers, perfect for creating a beautiful cottage garden look.
Simple to grow you can position your young plants in a bed, and distribute freely in some healthy moist easily draining soil. If you chose to grow in a container place one young plant in the centre of the container you can then surround this with a trailing plant and have verbena Brampton as your centre piece.
Verbena Brampton will stand up well to UK weather, so you can position in an open or exposed part of the garden and expect to see flowers year on year. At the end of the season, cut the stems back to ground level and fresh stems will appear the following spring.
