Marshalls are passionate about getting everyone to try growing their own fruit & vegetables.
Working with our sister company Unwins, we have been able to take their Grow Your Own Vegetables book written by Chelsea gold medal winner Andy McIndoe and add 6 packets of vegetable seed all for a special offer price.
The book by itself normally sells for £10. We have added 6 packets of out of date seed that has an average RRP of £12 saving at least £15 including our standard P&P rates.
The GYO book is designed to help you get the maximum impact from your available garden space and is aimed squarely at the novice & part time gardener.
Your 6 seed packets will be chosen at random from our herb & vegetable range but will where possible be separated into:
- Tomato or Pepper or Pea (1 seed packet)
- Salad leaves or Celery (1 seed packet)
- Cabbage or Cauliflower or Chilli (1 seed packet)
- Herb or Bean (1 seed packet)
- Microleaf or root vegetable (1 seed packet)
- Onion or Leek (1 seed packet)
There is information on using patios, pots, containers and windowsills and if you are lucky enough to have the space there is an additional two chapters on “small vegetable plots” and “the allotment” to help guide you on crops and crop rotation.
Using his 25 years of experience Andy also highlights his passion for some clever techniques to create food & flowers in the same border area using traditional British cottage garden schemes.
Spread across 7 chapters with hundreds of step by step full colour pictures this book is a great introduction to producing healthy food for you and your family.

Fully indexed if you just want to cherry pick your favourite fruit and vegetables, we believe our book is a valuable asset to any gardener.
How we have been able to do this fantastic offer?
Did you know that we pack our seed fresh each year? When packed our seed has an average germination of 95%-98% depending on the variety – so 9 out of 10 seeds should germinate.
At the end of the season we always have some seed packets left over. We choose not to re-sell that seed but rather give it away to people who we hope will become the next generation of vegetable growers.
This seed is still perfectly good to sow in 2018 but will have a slightly lower germination average of 85%-95% depending on the variety – so 8 out of 10 seeds should germinate.
All you have to remember is to keep the seed packets in a cool, dark place like a sideboard drawer to get the very best results in 2018.
