They give a delicious nutty taste to salads. Later they will make bold roots that will stand for several weeks without deterioration.

Sow Outdoors: March-June thinly ½in (1cm) deep direct in the harvest location. Keep soil moist at all times.
Thin Out: 3in (7cm) apart in rows 12in (30cm) apart.
Pick when small and use in salad for a nutty flavour.
