Growing Calendar for Tulip World Friendship - Tulip Bulbs
Delivery: Late September to Late November
Bring light to dappled parts of your garden with this simple yet sophisticated variety. Triumph type.
Truly the herald of spring this wild primrose-coloured tulip looks just lovely touched by morning dew. It thrives in beds that are exposed to full sun as much as it thrives in woodland beds in dappled shade beneath deciduous trees.
This tulip looks lovely planted in drifts on its own. Try planting bulbs in the lawn too where they will take over the spring display of daffodils.
Plant 12 bulbs in a 30cm (12in) container or around every square foot (30cm²) area of soil in a sunny or shady bed.
How you receive your bulbs
You receive our spring-flowering bulbs in autumn in a plastic mesh. This is to keep the bulbs together in a pack which is nice and airy – perfect to keep the bulbs healthy while in transit.
Can’t plant straight away?
Keep your bulbs in a cool, light and dry place and preferably hanging on a hook so that air can get to the bulbs at all angles. Look to planting your bulbs within a week of receiving them.
Our products are all grown with the utmost care and to high standards of quality. We regularly check our nursery stock to determine exactly when they will be at the optimum time for despatch.
We despatch our fresh, nursery-grown live plants (including vegetables, trees and flowers) when they are at a stage of growth ready for you, the customer, to plant on at home.
The delivery period shown on your order confirmation indicates when you can expect to receive your order and we will endeavour to despatch your plants in this period within 7-14 days
