Like a lily, but with no staining or allergy-causing pollen. A fantastic viridiflora tulip with pink petals with green streaks, curving charmingly at the tips. Great for cut flowers to put in vases indoors.
Consider growing with other striped tulips including Foxtrot and Foxy Foxtrot. Grow in the centre of flower beds to complement other tall spring flowers like crown imperial fritillaries and alliums.
Tulip Fluriosa gives your garden a modern look and is particularly suited for courtyard display.
If growing in a 30cm (12in) container plant 12 bulbs or evenly space in a square foot (30cm²) area of soil if you choose to plant in a flower bed.
How you receive your bulbs
You receive our spring-flowering bulbs in autumn in a plastic mesh. This is to keep the bulbs together in a pack which is nice and airy – perfect to keep the bulbs healthy while in transit.
Can’t plant straight away?
Keep your bulbs in a cool, light and dry place and preferably hanging on a hook so that air can get to the bulbs at all angles. Look to planting your bulbs within a week of receiving them.
Our products are all grown with the utmost care and to high standards of quality. We regularly check our nursery stock to determine exactly when they will be at the optimum time for despatch.
We despatch our fresh, nursery-grown live plants (including vegetables, trees and flowers) when they are at a stage of growth ready for you, the customer, to plant on at home.
The delivery period shown on your order confirmation indicates when you can expect to receive your order and we will endeavour to despatch your plants in this period within 7-14 days
