Sweet Pepper Seeds - Firebell

  • Catalogue Code 1020-2295
  • Pack Contents: 6x Sweet Pepper Seeds

An exclusive small sweet, bell pepper with a nice delicate chilli heat. Give your salads, stuffed peppers and casseroles a warm heat without blowing your head off! Grows to 4ft (1.2m) in a large container. Growing in a smaller container will restrict the plant size to suit.

Choose a sunny windowsill or greenhouse and watch these pepper plants give you vibrant lovely fruits to pick for salads and sauces. With a little heat, you’ll appreciate a tang and get the mood-enhancing elements from a chilli-pepper but without blowing your head off.

We recommend you sow 3 seeds in a small pot in early spring. Simply fill a pot with compost specially formulated for young plants, to the top and make a dent in the centre of the pot with the top of your finger. Pop the seeds in the dent and cover. Water the surface of the pot.

Once the seeds germinate keep watering daily. When the seedlings have about two leaves leaves, remove all seedlings except the stongest one to grow on into a pepper-producing plant.

How your seeds arrive

Your Pepper Firebell variety arrives to you as a well-sealed packet of 6 seeds with variety and cultural information on the front and the back of the packet.

This includes the best sowing time, benefits of growing the variety, harvests time, top tips and other handy bits of information to help you to grow your crop successfully and enjoyably.

Can’t plant straight away?

If you need to wait until the advised time of sowing which is given on the packet check the ‘Best Before’ date given on the packet and keep the packet in a dry and cool place like a drawer in an unheated room or garage.

  • Good in containers and pots
  • Will flower well in full sun
