Growing Calendar for Sweet Pea Romeo & Juliet Seeds
Delivery: 5-7 Working Days
Sweet Pea Romeo & Juliet Seeds have been specially selected to create an elegant display of subtle shades and heady scents.
Both are excellent exhibition varieties. Romeo produces larger flowers than many grandiflora sweet peas. A very free flowering variety, with white flowers edged with inky purple on long stems.
Strong scent and good strong stems make this sweet pea excellent for indoor displays. Juliet is a wonderful cream coloured sweet pea with a heady/citrus fragrance. Each flower has hints of apricot. Excellent for cut flower displays and exhibiting.
Do not allow seed pods to form as this will reduce flowering performance. Autumn sown seedlings are best over-wintered in a cold frame.
This is really rewarding as you get tons of potential plants for great value. You can keep seeds for a long time- even buying them out of season and waiting until the appropriate time of year. Read our guide on how to get successful flowers from seed.
