Growing Calendar for Strawberry Plants - Flamenco variety
Delivery: Early October to Early June
Enjoy this great-value collection of strawberry Flamenco plants for punnets of sweet sun-ripe fruit from as early as June and lasting right through to autumn.
Ever-bearer strawberries are a breeding breakthrough and Flamenco demonstrates this perfectly. It is one of the best everbearing strawberries, producing uniform fruit, with peak production in June and late August to early September.
Everbearing strawberries produce two main crops - in early and late summer - with smaller crops in between. This means you don't get fruit all at once, but get a controlled stream of strawberries through the summer.
We recommend your strawberry plants away from searing sun in particularly hot summers as this may prevent flowering and fruiting. If in containers move them to a shady area on very hot days.
Strawberry Flamenco is protected by Plant Variety Rights and cannot be propagated even for own use and resold without licence.
