A popular cottage garden plant Stocks are superb for both borders and for cut flowers and the wonderful fragrance is an added bonus!

Tall spikes of scented flowers in a range of colours of pink, purple, red, yellow and white flowers are carried on sturdy stems.

Whilst they will produce both single and double blooms follow the easy procedure if you wish to discard the singles and grow on only the more attractive doubles.

To grow on only double flowers - when seedlings have emerged place the tray in a cooler spot 7-10C (45-50F).
When large enough to handle, select only thepaler
seedlings. These will be double flowered.

Discard the darker seedlings, as these will be single flowered.
