Easy to grow Cherry Brandy thrives in moist soil given a sunny site. Cherry Brandy returns every year with more and more stems. We suggest you put one young plant in a 30cm (12in) pot or nine within a four square metre (square yard) area.

Cherry Brandy attains a height of 70cm (28in) so makes a great perennial for traditional flower borders and modern borders alike. Our tip is to match them with yellow flowers for great contrast. Place yellow day lilies at the front of your border for lovely flowers of different heights.

Cherry Brandy brings in beneficial pollinators like bees and hoverflies, which feed on garden pests and pollinate other flowers – making it a hard-working flower for the vegetable patch.

Perennial plants are the mainstay of the flower garden; many will flower all summer, becoming dormant in autumn to reappear in spring. Perennials tend to be non-fussy plants and are easy to look after - they just need the old stems cutting back in late autumn, which helps to promote new stems and vigorous growth the following spring, getting bigger and better every year!
