Take advantage of growing rhubarb Champagne, the variety considered to be the best for forcing (shutting out light to encourage pale and sweet stems).
You receive individually-inspected and graded two- year old crowns that have been grown from certified seed so we are confident that our plants come from the best stock.
We recommend that you give your rhubarb plants about a square metre (square yard) to spread and provide you with healthy stems. Rhubarb need rich soil for healthy stems so treat to organic manure or John Innes No2 compost.
