The Raspberry Joan J is an easy fruit to grow and yields delicious rewards of beautiful berries. This is a fantastic variety of Raspberry and is classed as a primocane which is an autumn-fruiting type of raspberry and will fruit in their first full year.

It has a compact growing habit and this makes it ideal for all garden types as space is not an issue. As long as you have space for a 10ltr pot you can have your own huge, delicious, superb flavoured raspberries from plant to plate.

It is a thornless variety with a classic raspberry flavour and you will get more berries for your money; up to 1.5kg of sweet, scarlet raspberries from June until September. Joan J will need to be planted in full sunshine, in soil that is fertile and moist but well-drained.

They have been planted out but are not yet showing any signs of life. I live in hope though!

Bought a dozen and put them in on arrival. Buds are showing on all 12 and every one is healthy and coming along nicely.
