The Victoria Plum tree is a must have for any gardener whether a beginner or expert. With delicious fruits and pretty blossoms it is easy to grow and will provide you with medium, egg-shaped sweet and juicy plums during August. Use the plums in desserts and jams or eat raw from the tree.
Awarded the RHS Award for Garden Merit in 1993 which was then reconfirmed in 2013, the Victoria Plum tree is the most well-known and popular English plum variety. They are self-fertile and a great pollination partner for many plum varieties.
Your plum tree will grow up to 4m (13ft), just make sure it is positioned where it will receive full sunlight and is planted in well-drained, moist soil.
The plums change colour as they ripen going from orange/red which are perfect for cooking, to red/purple which are perfect for eating.
