Growing Calendar for Okra French Quarter - Plants
Delivery: Late April to Early May
Take advantage of this new and exciting patio variety of okra (Abelmoschus esculentus). Other varieties require an indoor environment but not French Quarter which has been bred especially to thrive somewhere south-facing and sheltered outdoors.
Every plant offers big attractive blooms that give way to equally handsome pink-red seed pods. Both attractive and highly flavoursome. Okra French Quarter is just right for a south-facing balcony or patio that enjoys lots of sun.
You receive three healthy young plants delivered directly to your door. They arrive to you in a contained pack that creates an ideal environment for your plants to rest in while in transit from our nursery to your door, ready for them to get growing once planted up.
If you can’t plant your young plugs straight away then you can keep your plants in this pack for up to five days if you keep the soil moist.
Please unpack the plants as soon as you receive them and sit them in a tray of shallow water if they appear to have dried out in transit.
Once you have received our superb young plants follow these simple instructions...
