Growing Calendar for Narcissus Wisley - Daffodil Bulbs
Delivery: Late September to Late November
Narcissus Wisley bulbs look spectacular planted in drifts and are just as impressive in containers. Each flower is carried on strong upright stems and the blooms face upward without drooping. The white petals and yellow cups give Narcissus Wisley a fresh look when they are planted in bold groups. The daffodil bulbs bulk up well and produce lots of flowers so they are excellent for naturalising in beds and borders.
These daffodils have won the RHS award of Garden Merit (AGM) as excellent garden plants.
Daffodils are classified into 10 divisions according to flower type and shape. Narcissus Wisley is in Division 6, a group known as Cyclamineus daffodils, with blooms characterised by their cyclamen-like upswept petals.
