Growing Calendar for Meconopsis Lingholm x3 Plants
Delivery: Late April to Late May
Grow Meconopsis Lingholm in your own garden to give you a rare and striking blue poppy that copes well in the UK climate. Fantastic grown along an allotment edge this blue poppy brings in beneficial pollinators that are likely to pollinate nearby fruiting vegetables like peas and tomatoes.
Try growing beneath apple or pear trees to add some welcome colour to your kitchen garden or vegetable patch.
If growing in your garden we’d recommend you plant a couple of young plants to a container with a 30cm (12in) diameter for creating maximum colour and impact, or at the front of a flowerbed.
The plants where well packed and had moist soil and are thriving in my pot.
