  • Catalogue Code 5120-7496
  • Pack Contents: 3x Young Lupin Plants
  • Compact lupins, beaufitul in pots and flower beds
  • Well-furnished flower heads full of individual flowers
  • Beautiful contrasting felty palm-like leaves
  • Happy in shallow soils
  • Lovely cut flower variety
  • Ornamental pea flower in cheery yellow

Add lupins to your garden, a well-performing and attractive perennial, coming back each summer and giving you lovely flower spikes revealing flowers in lemon yellow. The leaves offset the flowers, opening out into outstretched palms. Felty in texture they hold onto dew drops and raindrops which catch the light and shimmer.

This lupin variety works well planted in the middle of a container as a centrepiece. Either plant three young specimens in one 30cm (12in) diameter container or plant one in the centre of a container and surround it by yellow bedding flowers available in the Marshalls range.

As your lupin plants come into flower enjoy the attention they bring from our much-loved British insects like honey-bees which hang about pollinating flowers of strawberries, tomatoes and blossoms of tree fruit.

Useful Tip:

Get some sharp secateurs and cut some of the flowers for vases or bouquets bringing a bit of colour to the home. Be sure to include leaves as well as they are equally ornamental.
