Wow at the white bell flowers of this highly scented flower variety that returns year after year. Lily-of-the-valley is a fond favourite for gardeners up and down the country. Successful in sun or shade it produces a classic carpet of white flowers, highly fragrant and attractive.

So impressive that the Royal Horticultural Society has given it the accolade of Award of Garden Merit. Plant your lily-of-the-valley in containers for the patio, in planters such as troughs for ventilated windowsills or plant in garden flower beds for a carpet of highly-scented white bell flowers every May.

Useful Tip:

Add fragrance indoors by getting hold of secateurs and cutting some stems. Put lily-of-the-valley flowers in vases dotted around the house. They flower in May while sweet peas are coming into bloom and make the perfect partner for those sweetly-scented cut sweet peas.

We recommend that you plant lily-of-the-valley with bluebells, aconites and snowdrops, all ideal for providing carpets of colour beneath trees and shrubs from winter, through the spring and into summer.

Absolute disaster. Dessicated on arrival. Attempted rehydration has predictably failed to revive these. Very disappointing that these were sent in this condition.

Have planted in pots prior to planting out later and they are all developing at very different rates.
