Lettuce 'Amaze' is an improved red gem lettuce with sparkling red and green tender leafs. Produces a really good crop in just a few weeks.
The uniform, maroon red leaves have a soft buttery texture and a a good lettuce taste. 'Amaze' shows some resistance to mildew.

Sow Indoors: March-May thinly ½in (1cm) deep in clean trays or modules of firm pre watered compost. Keep soil moist at all times.
Sow Outdoors: May-August thinly ½in (1cm) deep in direct harvest location. Keep soil moist at all times.
Thin Out: 9in (23cm) apart. use thinnings as baby leaf.
Plant Out: May-June ( when plants have 3-4 true leaves ) into required harvest position 9in (23cm) apart with 9in (23cm) between each row.
Harvest: June-October when centre begins to form.
