Enjoy growing leek Oarsman on your vegetable plot for impressive thick shafts, mid-green to white and with little evidence of bulbing.

A vigorous variety, praised by the Royal Horticultural Society Oarsman gives impressive results, supplying you with numerous leeks from late autumn to early spring, the time of year when other nourishing greens are at a low.

Plants give mid-season maturity, standing well through the winter and showing good tolerance to rust and bolting.

Leek Oarsman will break up a heavy soil well on account of its strong root system. A great way for home-growers to improve the texture of the soil the natural and organic way.
