A glorious blend of the whole spectrum of blue and purple - with bi-colours galore in flashing shades from palest blue to vibrant purple what a Fairy Tale mix is!
Your garden-ready 9 multi-sown modules will be delivered in a FREE Micro-Propagator.
Each module contains at least 5 sturdy plants – giving a total of 45 plants! This is a cost effective way of growing a mix of colours – especially if you lack space to grow from seed. Do not separate the multi sown modules, this will cause damage to the root system.
They are good value for money with sturdy plants with a vigorous root system ready to plant in your garden. They will be quick to establish, flower earlier and provide lots of different varieties for cutting.
Sweet Pea plants will be despatched from late April, ready-to-plant.
Keith Hammond Mixes:
Born in England, Dr Keith Hammett is a Botanist and Plant Pathologist. He developed a keen interest in sweet peas while still at school, retaining his links with UK sweet peas, even after he moved to New Zealand in 1967. Today, he is one of the worlds’ foremost sweet pea breeders. His interest led him to question why most sweet pea breeding is dedicated to self-coloured blooms, when the original wild species was bi-coloured. He has successfully bred some unique varieties including bi-colours, reverse bi-colours and blooms that open in one colour, changing hue as they mature. Here at Unwins, we are proud to be able to offer you two Exclusive mixes from his unique range.
