Growing Calendar for Hippeastrum Dancing Queen - Amaryllis Bulbs
Delivery: Late September to Late November
The enormous blooms of this amaryllis bulb are heavily streaked with white and red and they'll light up the room when they appear at Christmas. Each amaryllis bulb sends up strap-like leaves followed by stout hollow stems topped with as many as five large trumpet-shaped flowers.
Left to flower naturally amaryllis bulbs can bloom at anytime between winter and spring but they are most often grown as spectacular Christmas pot plants. These large bulbs are often commonly called amaryllis but their correct botanical name is Hippeastrum. Hippeastrum bulbs are not hardy in the UK but they make superb indoor plants with spectacular blooms.
BULBS LOOK IN GOOD CONDITION AND ARE WELL LABELLED AND WRAPPED IN A BAG EACH MAKING THEM VERY EASY TO WRAPP
Had a few of this one over the years so pretty
