Green Manure Winter Tares produces a large bulk of green, nitrogen fixing matter for heavy soil types.
Improves the fertility and texture of the soil and suppresses weeds. Dig in spring before flowering before growing a leafy crop with high nitrogen requirement.
Sow March-May or July-September for over-wintering.
Improves soil texture and is a nitrogen fixer.

Sow Outdoors: March- September, in a broad cast manner. Lightly rake the soil surface after sowing. Keep soil moist at all times.
Grow On: Chop and dig in the plants any time before flowering.
Use a strimmmer or lawn mower to chop down the foliage.
Pack contains sufficient for 38 square yards.
Germinated even though temperatures in single figures.
Sowed last year and they grew well and crops did well in beds that had these planted over winter so bought enough for more beds this year.
Have not sown these yet but would expect the usual good quality of Marshalls
