Green Manure Phacelia is good foliage cover for weed suppression in any soil type.

For maximum effect it should be cut down before the flowers open, but they are extremely attractive to many beneficial insects, especially bees so can be a good idea to leave a few to flower.

Pack covers 25 square meters at an application rate of approximately 1g per square meter.

Best sown by broadcast method onto a dug, levelled and firm bed, lightly raking in and keep  moist.

Can be over-wintered in milder areas.

Sow Outdoors: March-September, direct into the required position, prepare soil by raking to produce a firm even surface. Broadcast the seed and rake in to cover lightly.

DIG IN: Chop down foliage and dig in before flowering to improve the soil''s structure and fertility.

Flowers: May-October

Leave a few to flower, extremely attractive to beneficial insects.
