We've trialed a wide range of veg seeds to bring you a ready-made collection of varieties that were very successful when sown in our Marshalls Greenhouse Gro-Beds in a cool greenhouse in January, February and March.
Sow now under protection of a cool greenhouse or windowsill quite thickly in seed or module trays and within weeks you can start harvesting thinning as baby leaf salad leaves- another way to get that 'Spring Diet' going! As the plants grow harvest as soon as they have young leaves like cress punnets for salads and sandwiches and reap the vitamins contained! Harvest alternate plants the plant gathers more growing space allowing them to keep growing on top more mature plants. A great way is to sow little and often prolonging the windowsill or cool greenhouse harvest.
The Early Harvest Collection consists of 10 varieties, 1 each of:
Lettuce Little Gem, Mizuna Kyoto, Spinach Amazon, Lambs Lettuce Trophy, Bright and Spicy Salad Leaf Mix, Provencale Salad Mix, Rocket Salad, Beetroot Boltardy, Radish French Breakfast and Salad Leaves Baby Leaf Mix.
