Growing Calendar for Fritillaria michailovskyi - Fritillary Bulbs
Delivery: Late September to Late November
One of the daintiest fritillaria bulbs, Fritillaria michailovskyi has unusual, striking little flowers held in clusters of up to four blooms on wiry stems. They are perfect for planting in light dry, shade under shrubs and trees or even in a rockery because they need excellent drainage to thrive. The Fritillaria michailovskyi equally works as well in a flower pot or in a planter on the patio.
Easy to grow bulbs, the maroon and gold flowers appear in early summer and they keep a bulb display going once tulips have faded.
These fritillaries have won the RHS award of Garden Merit (AGM) as excellent garden plants.
I was very pleased with the uniformity of the Fritillary bubs. They werte all of flowering size.
