Growing Calendar for Family Apple Tree (Elstar/ Worcester/ Fiesta)
Delivery: Mid November to Late May
A Unique and Fruitful Gift Picking apples from your own trees is a dream for many keen gardeners but with a family tree it’s possible to grow a variety of different apples even in a small space.
Three varieties are grafted onto the same tree to give a long cropping season of delicious apples.
'Elstar' The perfect sweet and sharp balance, delicious to eat straight from the tree or juiced for thirst-quenching home-made apple juice. Elstar produces heavy, regular crops of apples which are greenish-yellow, flushed with red. The flavour and texture are honeyed and crisp with a satisfying bite.
'Worcester' is a tough, hardy variety that’s a strong performer. It has beautiful pink blossom during spring giving a long season of interest followed by apples that ripen with a red blush from late August eventually turn fully red with a sweet strawberry-like flavour. Resistant to mildew. Flowering Group: FG3
'Fiesta' is a cox-type apple with a tangy sweet-sharp flavour. The fruit is ready to pick from October. Flowering Group: FG4
Years until fruiting from planting: 2

Most of our trees are delivered as bare rooted specimens with approximate height of: 3.5ft - 5ft / 105cm - 140cm depending on the variety.
In order to ensure a good pollination pick fruit trees from within the same or from adjacent flowering groups.
We may prune your tree before it arrives to your door. We do this to encourage your tree to branch freely which makes them better looking and more productive.
Looks to be doing well and thriving.
Fine but rather dry when it arrived
The tree looks a healthy specimen. Very easy to plant.
