Delphinium Pacific Astolat - Plants

  • Catalogue Code 5117-1014
  • Pack Contents: 10x Delphinium Plants
  • Great Pacific Giant variety
  • Use in cottage gardens
  • Perfect for honeybees

Enjoy the fabulous towering spikes of beautiful pink delphiniums; this beautiful Pacific Giant reveals outward facing lilac pink flowers, great for beneficial UK insects like honeybees and colourful butterflies.

Great for a sunny flower bed. We recommend you plant to the back of your border where pink Astolat stands proud, offsetting flowers to the front of your border. Partner Delphinium Astolat with foxgloves flowering around the same time- in June and July.

Alternatively grow in wall-side borders if you have light-coloured bricks. The pink flowers contrast with the light bricks perfectly and the flowers reach a height where you can pick them for putting in vases to bring a bit of the outdoors in.

Easy to plant, space plants at least 50cm (20in) apart to give your plants sufficient room to develop and give you full blooms on tall 1.5m (5ft) plants. Position in full sun and treat to a moist rich soil. We recommend you add some John Innes No2 compost into the soil at planting if your soil is free-draining and sandy.

1.5m / 5ft
