Growing Calendar for Chionodoxa forbesii - Glory of the Snow Bulbs

Most commonly known as Glory of the snow, Chionodoxa forbesii bulbs are the first to flower in spring and has starry flowers and strap-like leaves which emerge in early spring.
We suggest planting these Glory of the Snow bulbs in shady borders, as they are perfect for brightening up bare soil; blooming well in the dappled shade under shrubs and deciduous trees.
Chionodoxa will also succeed in hot sunny sites such as rockeries, or plant them in containers with other spring bulbs and flowers or to under plant shrubs or topiary.
