Order now for Late April delivery
Record-breaking Trinidad Scorpion Moruga Red is a powerful beast packing over 1.2 million scoville units on average and is certainly no wallflower when it comes to flavour and bright red fruit. This variety is certainly not for the faint-hearted. Even if wary of the heat though you can enjoy the ornamental bright fruit on tall, compact plants.
Grow in containers and your plants do well given sun and moist soil to grow in. Additional supports as it attains its height of 90cm (3ft) will keep your attractive plants compact and visually pleasing.
Your vegetable plants are delivered to you in a plastic wallet perfect for young plants to travel in from our nursery to your door. The wallet encourages young plants to maintain good health by giving them an ideal air and root environment when it arrives to you.
If you cannot plant up your vegetable plants straight away into a container make sure the plug of your plants is kept moist at all times. Look to planting in their permanent position within five to seven days.
We recommend you wear gloves when picking fruits.
Two deformed seedlings which failed to flower and grew really odd. The other has produced a few chilli's but too early to try. Will not be making any future purchases at Marshall's
Seedling arrived in good order
Two of the three Morugas are fine but the third I would describe as a runt - very small and may/may not survive
