Growing Calendar for Chilli Pepper Seeds - Caldero
Delivery: Early April to Mid April
Chilli Pepper 'Caldero' is very compact making this an ideal variety for pots on a warm patio.
A medium hot, sweet and uniform conical shaped chilli. Produces glossy fruits that ripen creamy yellow to orange and red at maturity.
An extremely attractive variety!
Grow in a conservatory, greenhouse or on a sunny patio.
Sow Indoors: February-April thinly, in clean trays of firm pre watered compost, cover with ¼in (½cm) of vermiculite or sieved compost. Place in warmth 15-20°C (60-70°F) and keep moist at all times.
Prick Out: When large enough to handle, transplant into 3½in (7cm) pots to establish.
Grow On: Plant out into individual pots or growing bags at a minimum of 15°C (60°F)
Feed regularly to increase flowering and fruiting.
Very compact plant.
Germinated within days and now growing strongly, ready for transplanting to a bigger pot.
