Growing Calendar for Ceratostigma Sapphire Ring - 9cm Potted Shrub
Delivery: Early March to Early September
Star-shaped blue flowers reward you from this tidy UK-hardy shrub. This hard-to-sought variety offers a beautiful backdrop of golden leaves and contrasting reddish stems. Being a perennial shrub you can anticipate a great show every year.
Happy in sun or partial shade your Sapphire Ring shrub gives masses of star flowers in late summer and your shrub looks particularly effective when partnered with other blue flowers in summer like agapanthus and delphiniums.
Though not compulsory, we suggest you treat Sapphire Ring to a light prune after flowering in autumn, snipping off the top inch or so of the stems to keep your plant in good shape and encourage your plant to grow denser and fuller for an even better display.
