Growing Calendar for Brussels Sprout Seeds - Titus F1 Hybrid
Delivery: 5-7 Working Days
Tall, sturdy plants produce small dark tight buttons with a smooth appearance. Maturing from December to February.
Our Brussels Sprout varieties have each been selected for their superb flavour. They're also an excellent source of vitamin C and are packed full of vitamin D, folic acid and are high in antioxidants.
To grow tightly packed sprouts, firm fertile soil is essential. Dig in plenty of well-rotted manure or compost as early as possible to give the soil the maximum time to settle.
Perfect sprouts for Christmas.
Sow Outdoors: Late March-April thinly ½in (1cm) deep in a seed bed or clean module trays of firm pre watered compost. Keep soil moist at all times. Protect from frost.
Thin Out: 4in (10cm) apart.
Plant Out: May-June into the required harvest position 24in (60cm) apart with 24in (60cm) between each row.
