This is a superb sprout variety; it’s vigorous, recommended by the Royal Horticultural Society and proves excellent in its standing ability through the winter months. The small, tight buttons are a lovely dark green with good deep flavour. This is the Brussels sprout variety for you if you are looking for sprouts that bundle close together as they grow and make easy harvesting.
Our Brussels Sprout varieties have each been chosen for their great flavour. They're also a viable source of vitamin C, folic acid and are high in antioxidants. Great for an eating plan if you know someone pregnant with its high folic acid content.
To grow tightly packed sprouts, firm fertile soil is essential. We recommend you dig in plenty of well-rotted manure or compost as early as possible to give the soil the maximum time to settle.
