Growing Calendar for Brundall Mint - 3 bare roots
Delivery: Early February to Mid April
Hailed the'King of Mint' from a specialist grower just outside Norwich Brundall mint is easy to grow, produces lots of sharp, spearmint leaves on every plant and grows away happily in sun or deep shade.
In taste trials it came first for all-time flavour and is the preferred variety used by mint sauce makers, thanks to its concentrated taste. It has the kudos of an Award of Garden Merit from the Royal Horticultural Society.
A wonderful aroma too! We supply them to you as bare-root plants. just plant them up in moist soil and they will burst into life in early spring.
We recommend you plant up in containers to keep the plants compact, bushy and full of leaves. In a bed they tend to spread.
very poor packaging meant the roots were smashed in the post.
Previously purchased 2 years ago. Needed a second batch
One root didn't seem to be actively growing anything, but two have thrown up a green shoot so far.
