- Chickens in the Garden
As far as I am concerned being a veggie gardener and keeping a few chickens goes hand in hand. I have three chooks called Rag, Tag and Bobtail who give me hours of amusement and my husband hours of clearing up of all the stones etc they dump on the lawn as they scratch about before he can cut the lawn (or so he says).
- A Moveable Feast - from Hampton Court Flower Show 2013
At Hampton Court this week one of the gardens that really captured my imagination was A Moveable Feast designed with Army Wives in mind. Forces families often move location at short notice so making a garden your own can be a thankless task but if you enjoy gardening and growing your own fruit and vegetables it's really nice to have that experience as a family.
- Hampton Court Palace Flower Show 2013
Hampton Court Flower Show is absolutely my favourite of the gardening year! It's the worlds largest flower show and the setting is just spectacular. No jostling for a tiny bit of elbow room here, there is plenty of room for everybody.
- A Weekend of Gardening!
My weekend was all planned out, try to get all the potting up of containers and re-potting of cucumbers and tomatoes into their final pots for the rest of the summer - some of my tomato plants have been in their 1 litre pots for far too long, Losetta is already in flower!
