Growing Calendar for Beetroot Quattro Gourmet Mix - Plants
Delivery: Early June to Mid June
These plants produce a visually impressive and great-tasting combination of four contrasting and delicious beetroot varieties; Albino, Burpees Golden, Chioggia and Detroit 2. These are a welcome addition in your garden and a greater addition for use in your kitchen.
High in vitamins and pleasantly sweet like other root vegetables. These varieties are so simple to grow especially available as plants and you can harvest for both baby-beet or wait to allow them to swell into large tender full-sized roots.
You can enjoy these beets raw in salads or roasted in vinegar for a vibrant side dish. We recommend you plant these into raised containers or bed so you need not crouch right down to the ground when it comes to harvesting.
When it comes to harvesting, simply twist off the tops to prevent bleeding.
Your Beetroot plants will arrive to you as multi-sown modules. Each module contains between 4-5 individual Beetroot plants. When they arrive plant the modules whole. The Beetroots will push apart when they grow and provide you with plentiful delicious crops.
