Growing Calendar for Aubergine Seeds - Ophelia F1 Hybrid
Delivery: Early April to Late August
Aubergine Ophelia is a very decorative baby-fruited Aubergine variety.
Ophelia produces an abundance of beautiful, glossy, dark purple fruits of just 50-60g each.
These Aubergine plants are compact and perfectly suited to growing on a sunny patio.
Aubergines need to be kept well watered and should be fed regularly once fruits start to swell using Nutri Tomato Plant Food.
An Abundance of Compact Fruits
SOW INDOORS - January-April individually, in clean 9cm pots of firm pre-watered compost.Cover with ½in (1cm) of vermiculite or sieved compost. Place in warmth 70-75°F (21-24°C) and keep moist at all times.
GROW ON - At 60-65°F (16-18°C) until late May-June. When established, plant into a patio pot or 18in (45cm) apart in Grow Bag and leave in a cold greenhouse or place in a sunny sheltered position once all risk of frost has passed.
HEIGHT - 24in (60cm)
TIP - Feed regularly and water more frequently as a crop forms. Tie stems to a support if necessary.

Failed to germinate. Used good quality John Innes seed compost and kept on window sill in bathroom to maximise light and create ideal temperature. Have grown these before so a bit disappointed.
