It’s wonderful to have the choice of either growing purple asparagus or mounding your asparagus to shield it and create a wonderful sweet tasting white asparagus to bring into your kitchen. Either way the choice is yours!
You also have a varied choice when to plant Stewarts purple, as you can either plant it in the spring or autumn and harvest in April to June. Enjoying bumper crops year after year.
Please unpack the plants as soon as you receive them and sit them in a tray of shallow water if they appear to have dried out in transit.
