Apricot Moorpark is an early-ripening from of the original and popular English Moorpark, it is very well suited to our English climate.
It is one of the best apricot varieties for eating fresh off of the tree, like all apricots it is excellent for culinary use. Regardless of the name, It is a mid-season variety and ripens toward the second half of August.
The fruit of Moorpark can be picked over the course of a week or so. Unlike the modern orange-blushed varieties of Apricots this variety is of a paler colour. The soft flesh within Moorpark has a very strong apricot flavour.
This variety grows into an elegant small tree and has very attractive pink-tinged white blossoms which pop up in the spring.
The tender golden-yellow fruits swell from late July. The variety is self-fertile and is known widely for its genuine reliability and superb garden performance.

Going to see how this does in uk ...this spring 2018 is poor so figers crossed
The tree arrived well packaged and had a well established root system. Not the best shape but this can be addressed as the tree grows. Supplied with a sturdy wooden stake, rubber tie and plastic pest guard.
