Cox's Orange Pippin is a well-known and very popular variety known for its reliability in cooler climates. Often first choice for many chefs when it comes to cooking with apples.
The thin skinned aromatic, crisp and juicy apples have a disjunctive flavour making this apple a popular choice to pick and enjoy fresh due to its wonderful sweet flavour. Or it can become the key ingredient of many dishes. We recommend you pick and eat or cook fresh, however, if picked early Pippin will store for around a month.
This popular and tasty variety is self-fertile (SF) so it flowers and fruits independently. They produce fruit, even when planted in isolation. Handling UK weather well you can expect to receive strong harvest mid to late September.
The dwarf characteristics of the Pippin tree means that harvesting is a simple task reducing the need to reach up high.
Cropping from October it is Ideal for eating fresh, it stores well too.

Well-shaped tree, which sadly lost one branch tip as a result of careless handling by the Yodel delivery driver (it was upside down!).
Have planted and now waiting for the growth and harvest.
