Growing Calendar for Apple Bramley - Apple Tree
Delivery: Early November to Late May
Grow a Bramley apple in your kitchen garden and reach the next level of home-growing. In autumn you are rewarded with large cooking apples perfect for creating all the best traditional British puddings and preserves.
A fifth smaller than vigorous Bramley this is the tree to grow in a large container or a smaller plot.
Trained on a M26 rootstock you receive your tree at a manageable height for growing on your plot. We recommend you grow more than one apple tree in your fruit and vegetable plot for a greater chance of fruiting. If there are other apple trees within the vicinity you are unlikely to need a supplementary tree for a good crop of apples.
Tree growing lots of shoots
Poor root structure not sufficient care taken when lifting tree to preserve the roots properly.
