This summer to autumn-harvesting variety gives you large potatoes with smooth skin, ready to harvest from August and into autumn after planting in March. Known for its big and uniform tubers Ise of Jura offers you large yields for you and your household right through the autumn.
This maincrop variety is ideal as jacket potatoes and roast potatoes from late summer. Having a smooth consistency Isle of Jura keeps its shape when prepared in the oven. Being a UK Albert Bartlett variety you can be sure love and attention has gone into sourcing your potatoes.
Grow your Isle of Jura tubers in Gro-sacks, ideal for growing potatoes on patios or on the balcony or directly in the vegetable patch incorporating Pre Planting potato fertiliser to give your seed potatoes an healthy boost of nutrients and goodness.
Should you receive your seed potatoes before March place them in egg cartons somewhere cool and light. This encourages the ‘eyes’ – the knobbly stem bases to grow stubby and thick which then produce strong, thick stems when you plant them in sacks or directly in your vegetable patch in March.
