Agastache Kudos Coral - Perennial Plants

  • Catalogue Code 5120-7392
  • Pack Contents: 3x Agastache Perennial Plants
  • Scented and beautiful
  • A cottage garden special
  • Grow in pots, grow in beds

Tall perennial with space-saving upright spires of tube-like pink/red flowers above leaves which smell of liquorice. Agastache gives you the freedom of choice too – cut stems to ground-level in late autumn or leave the upright stems over winter to add structure and make your agastaches work that bit harder for you.

Place Agastache in a sheltered or windy site so long as you give them full sun. Put three young plants in a square metre space or one young plant for every 30cm (12in) container. Simply water once a day or water twice a day, mornings and evenings if it’s a hot summer.

In summer Agastache blooms heavily from July right through to October. In july they provide bright colour, in autumn the colour intensity lessens but the soft hues look ideal in autumn sunlight.

Your Agastache Kudos Coral attains full height within a month of planting if positioned in full sun and rich, moist soil.

Great for a small space, the upright growth allows you to fit lots in for an impressive display full of tall flowers.

Perennial plants are the mainstay of the flower garden; many will flower all summer, becoming dormant in autumn to reappear in spring. Perennials tend to be non-fussy plants and are easy to look after - they just need the old stems cutting back in late autumn, which helps to promote new stems and vigorous growth the following spring, getting bigger and better every year!
