Winter & Spring Cropping Brassica Plants Collection - No sowing or thinning out needed here, just plant in a prepared bed, keep them well watered and look forward to harvesting the earliest and tastiest crops from winter through to spring.
Collection includes 16 plants - four each of the varieties below:
Broccoli Extra Early Rudolph: This high quality broccoli will begin to crop in early autumn, but is at its very best from November to February. Good sized, tender spears are produced on large framed plants
Savoy Cabbage Supervoy: This is a true titan of the cabbage world! Remains strong and vigorous and dark green through the winter and performs well in less fertile conditions.
Cabbage Marabel: Has firm dense heads and keeps it’s attractive red and green colour when cooked.
Cauliflower Clemen: A sturdy and strong plant capable of surviving through the winter frost and snow. A healthy white curd shows when mature.
Can not fault excellent value
The plants are doing very well so far.
i ordered 2 sets of brassicas growing ready for planting out. Both sets were dry rooted and wilting but the larger set of white broccoli had 12 plants with dead leaves and all wer wilting. I took the delivery from the courier by hand and due to the number of dead leaves and wilted plants I soaked the roots in water and potted on in potting compost. after 2 weeks 9 plants had died and another 6 have lost all of their main leaves but are setting new leaves but they will have suffered
Please unpack the plants as soon as you receive them and sit them in a tray of shallow water if they appear to have dried out in transit.
