I ordered these onions for our Yohden primary school so that the children aged between 4 -11 could plant out their raised beds throughout the gardening year. As we have gained our eco green flag and entered the Northumria in bloom growing together comp we had veg to show the judges the beds that have been sown from oct throughout . Winning a gold last year we hope with these produce we will go 1 further in gaining the cup as these onions and the other seeds that we have ordered in the past have given our school a fabulous show for the visit of the judges a big thank you from our children
We bought these onion sets last year and have had some excellent onions. We won first prize at the village summer show with undressed onions and in the autumn show we won first prizes for undressed and dressed onions. We are buying them again this year and would recommend them to anyone. They are tasty and keep well.
