Country Taste produces delicious meaty fruits, ideal for slicing, frying and grilling and perfect for stuffing. It produces a particulary early crop when grown under glass and has the potential as an exhibition variety too - for the largest fruits restrict to 3-4 tomoatos per truss.

Tomato - Country Taste 1020-2268

Good tomato huge round fruit

TYPE: Indoor Cordon.

Height: 6ft 5in (200cm)

Sow Indoors: February-April individually in clean 9cm pots or module trays of firm pre watered compost, cover with 1in (2cm) of vermiculite or sieved compost. Place in warmth 18-21°C (65-70°F) and keep moist at all times.

Grow On: At 10-15°C ( 50-60°F) until late May. When established, plant into a patio pot 12in (30cm) or Grow Bag and leave in a cool frost free greenhouse or place in a sunny sheltered position when risk of frost has passed. Grow cool to avoid 'leggy' plants.

Harvest: August-October

Feed regularly and water more frequently as a crop forms.Tie stems to a support as they grow.
