Strawberry Vibrant -Plants

  • Catalogue Code 1060-5080

When Marshmarvel - now renamed Vibrant - was released from breeding at East Malling Research, we immediately saw its potential and seized the opportunity for exclusivity in amateur markets.

A chance showing of Marshmarvel fruits to major supermarket buyers captured their imagination and desire to add it to their premier ranges. Because of this massive interest, the variety now has an official name, Vibrant, which we shall use in future catalogues.

This early-cropping variety has quickly become a very popular Marshalls variety. High-yielding with rich-red, glossy, perfectly shaped berries, it has truly excellent eating qualities.

Flowers are held well above the foliage, aiding pollination and keeping fruit clean and easy to pick and frequently produces a second crop later in the season.

Wonderful strawberry. Large, tasty, easy to pick and a small second crop the first year! My plants produced a few runners late in the season. Enough to propagate more, but not dozens that messed up the whole patch. Couldn't be better!

SIMPLY DELICIOUS!! - they turn a fabulous deep red and it doesn't take much to pull off the fruit. The strawberries range from medium size to huge and are very sweet and juicy, I know this because I keep finding juice on my 2 year old girls t-shirts!! She simply loves them and I would highly recommend them o anyone. Only snag, mine have not produced any runners to increase my number of plants, so I will have to buy more.
