Squashkin Seeds (Stock Is Limited)

I bought these for my mum as they had such a cute name. She was really pleased as they were easy to grow and gave a good crop. She has asked me to get more!

I thought these new squashes looked amazing, and decided to give them a try this year. I followed the instructions and ended up with two healthy plants (and I still have a couple of seeds left for next Spring). For a long time it looked as if nothing was going to happen, but I happily ended up with five little squashkins! They're the perfect size for a batch of soup and they taste delicious. I... [ more ] found it helpful to grow them up canes because I don't have much space for them to sprawl on the ground - however, they were very compact compared to the Crown Princes that I also grew. I hope this product hasn't been discontinued because I would very much like to grow them again next year.

None of them germinated. I grew twelve other winter squash varieties under the same conditions and they all came up. The star is for Marshalls because they refunded the money.

I really enjoyed these squashes and hope to get some more when they are back in stock.

Very easy to grow, initially had 5 good size fruits early in growing season, picked those and very quickly had another batch growing, will definitely be growing these again.
