Spring Cabbages are generally summer sown to overwinter and produce small tender cabbages or spring greens. Confusingly, late spring sowings of Durham Elf can ensure earlier crops in autumn and winter

Cabbages are easy to grow, and can keep the whole family fed all year round. It can be eaten fresh or cooked and has an excellent source of vitamin C.
